Runs with Scissors was formed on July 15th, 2006 Earth Time, though we're not quite sure what time it was in the stormy lands of Azeroth. The founding members of RWS were known to be named Gamble, Feld, Jasuuth, and Thise (to be revised for correctness). They gathered at Stormwind's historic fountain outside the cities majestic bank, and signed their names to the parchment that contained the guild charter. It was a day of trepidation and relief as members gathered, uncertain of their experience and what the future may hold, and revelled in relief at reforming bonds of old friendships.

   RWS members gathered together, knowing the guild was to be formed under the supervision of a wise council. This council would rule the guild with its four members each of equal power and say. They would see to it, that each member of the guild would have equal say in the policies and workings of the guild. They declared in the charter, that RWS would be a place for each member to feel at home, a comforting place to lay ones head, or find an ear, or a place to find battle plans to attack a common enemy. Most of all, a the council sought to form a place where all people are welcome. Level of roleplay is not important, only that the member find a place to feel comfortable, be that in a battlefield fighting the enemy, or at home, casting ward's around one's house to keep out the ants from the food pantry.

   This story is only just starting with our members writing our history as we speak. We will brandish our scissors proudly, and run forward only glancing back, to measure the path we have beaten through our foes.
